Our gathering begins with warming up our voices and bodies and then focus for the first hour on learning how to more successfully play with rhythm. The remainder of the time together will be spent on singing and application. Our goal is to create a fun, fearless community of improvising singers.

NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. These gatherings are for anyone with a desire to sing.

Rhythm! It's that thing propels our daily lives forward and gives our music movement and life, but what is it exactly and how do I get it to show up in my voice? Why does it matter in improvised singing? Always found first and foremost in the body, rhythm is the foundation that can propel a circle forward. Even more interestingly, rhythm can morph and change while the group sings and creates. We play with quickly finding and committing to rhythm as well as odd meters.

Suggested sliding scale donation $15-$20.
